As Industrial Painting & Specialty Coatings Division Manager, Grover Lee draws from experience in the construction trades since 1982. Grover’s education and training combined with years of field experience gives him the opportunity to manage projects from the estimate to the completed job. Grover uses his technical expertise to assist team members with accurate and competitive estimates and proposals, along with executive-level assistance in handling complex specialty coating assignments. Many years of experience in the field has helped in dealing with production issues related to planning and completion of challenging projects, while satisfying schedules and client concerns in a safe manner.

Key projects that Grover has been associated with include, Abrasive Blasting & Painting the Foresthill Road Bridge, Painting of the Benicia Bridge, Penstock Linings in Northern California for Pacific Gas and Electric, Dam Gate De-leading and Rehabilitation for Pacific Power in Klamath Falls, Co-Gen For Pacific Power and numerous Water and Waste Water Plants located in Northern and Southern California. Since working at F.D.Thomas, Grover has had the opportunity to use his talents on a national level working on may of the largest coating projects under contract.

Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN
Associates Arts Degree in General Studies, Shasta College, Redding, CA

Certifications: SSPC C-5 Competent Lead Supervisor, NACE Certified Coating Inspector Level 3, SSPC Applicator Train-the-Trainer, LMCI STP Instructor

Trainings: Management of Multiple Projects (Fred Pryor Seminars), FMI - Project Managers Academy, Estimating and Blue Print Reading (Bay Area Painters), SSPC Tutorials and Training Seminars
